EQUIDAYS

Equidays is an all-encompassing equine event that focuses on all aspects of the equine industry, business and recreation. There will be an exhibition of all equipment, suppliers and elements of the equine world; demonstrations from each of the equine disciplines, competitions, clinics and training. The first Equidays was held 18 to 20 November 2011 with the subsequent event taking place on 2-4 November 2012.

Due to the vast expanse of the Mystery Creek Events Centre venue, 113 hectares will accommodate a variety of disciplines of the industry at the one venue. The three days of the event will include exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations, activities and more to come closer to the event.

Before the launch of the event, immense research was conducted to gauge interest and ensure success. The support for such an event has been overwhelming. The NZ National Fieldays Society does not have relationships with the equestrian industry; therefore, is an unbiased window to the sector with no emphasis on particular areas. All disciplines have equal opportunity to showcase their area of expertise at the event.

Who is organising the event?

Equidays has been developed by the team at NZ National Fieldays Society, trading as Mystery Creek Events Centre. Many hours of research have been invested in this development, with the concept having been first explored some 18 months prior to announcement of the inaugural Equidays.

The NZ National Fieldays Society is a non-profit organisation. Any surpluses from the event will be re-invested back into the growth of the event or into property development. For more information about the Society and Mystery Creek Events Centre.

Mystery Creek Events Centre is the ideal venue for Equidays. Large events are a specialty at the events venue, with 113 hectares of land on hand. Mystery Creek Events Centre is located in the Waikato, a region well known for its equine focus. The Waikato has more horses than any other region,so it makes perfect sense to hold an industry event in the area.
